The Director
Director, Head Coach:
My name is Mynor Mendoza; I am the director and head coach of the Starlings South Central Volleyball Club, home of the Bombers. I have been in charge of the program for a over six years now. We have achieved greater and increasingly greater accolades as we continue to grow and expand our programs into every age level. We currently try to host a 14's, 16's, and 18's team every year.
I have been coaching for a while now and I have accomplished great things. I have coached at Manual Arts High School as an assistant to the Head Coach Cornelius, Trent for the girl’s team. Trent was a great coach for me to work with and learn from, I was like his apprentice and I learned new things from him day in and day out. Since that time he has past down the torch to me, so I have continued to try to keep his success running going 12-1 as the new head coach.
From there I became the Head Coach for the Manual Arts High School boys team and at the same time I was asked to take over the Starlings program at Manual Arts, I could not resist and took advantage of this opportunity. It was a great experience and a wonderful joy to be in charge of the girls.
Finally, after a year of coaching and having great success with all the teams I had coached, I was recommended for the Head Coach position at LACC for the Women's Club team, and after an interview process I was selected to lead the way for the LACC team into intercollegiate contention in the 2008 season.
